Courier services are designed to facilitate efficient delivery of patient care by ensuring prompt specimen pickup and turn-around times. Quality Laboratory Service employs own trained, uniformed couriers to guarantee specimen integrity. STAT pickups are available for urgent testing needs. QLS utilizes state of the are information systems to schedule and track courier pick-up and delivery. We can accommodate virtually any specific pickup requirements. For more information, call us at 718-646-5100. Quality Laboratory Service provides all necessary supplies and containers for laboratory diagnostic services at no charge. This includes pre-paid mailing containers for clients who wish to mail their specimens to us.
Quality Laboratory Service provides home visits for laboratory testing to those patients who are medically unable to go to a patient service center or the doctor's office. We service over 12,000 patient lab encounters annually including over 800 home care visits.
A highly trained phlebotomy technician, visits the home. In most cases the technician will call the patient the evening before the visit to verify an approximate time of arrival.
